Having been in broadcasting since 1996, and after working for City TV news for over 10 years, Kevin decided to pursue his passion of being an independent producer creating TV programs, documentaries and other productions highlighting culture and community.

Kevin was also a technical director for the Jack Webster Award winning documentary series, "Above and Beyond" for Fairchild TV, this 26 episode series aired nationally and internationally.

He is most proud of receiving the Rogers Omni Independent Producers Fund for his documentary “Secret Societies of Vancouver’s Chinatown” and working as a shooter/editor for the Olympics Winter Games in Vancouver and the inaugural Youth Olympic Games in Singapore. .

As a Canadian born Chinese, Kevin still maintains his heritage by volunteering at Hon Hsing Athletic Association and performing the traditional Chinese lion dance during different festivities year round.
